Well, this, certainly is new. [There is rustling, followed by pages being flipped, eventually the man gets the video feature working.

His brows knit together as he runs his calloused work worn fingers across the page. He's a very large, broad shouldered man wearing something akin to cassock. Faint freckles dot across his cheeks half hidden by the fading tan he has.]

This is even newer. Deity be blessed.

I'm not certain of who I'm going to reach with this, but, hello. [Abel offers an friendly but unsure smile. He runs his fingers through his messy brown hair.] I'm Abel, and- I'd like to know where I am. And why do I have wings?

And- have any of you seen a particular man, he's tall, blonde, grey eyes, wears glasses and is generally- very calm in demeanor. He goes by The Judge, if that makes things any clearer.

Really? [He blinks a little, poking some at the book even more interested by this point.] I somehow doubt leaving is going to be that easy.

[Abel. There is another Abel so near and dear to his heart whom is starkly different in appearance. The hellion's curiosity gets the better of him and he decides to answer, the smile on his thin lips not reaching his eyes.]

The Judge? [A lilting tone.] ...And what is it that he judges?

He's the judge for the church. He judges people for the sins they've committed. [Though Abel doesn't seem fond of the idea.]

[Despite being freed of his curse, he's never lost the predatory fierceness that flickers in his eyes when something rouses his indignation. Such words only serve to remind him of the madness he'd known back home.]

Sins? [Still, he maintains a cool albeit brittle politesse.] Pray tell - what would these insufferable transgressions be? Murder? Witchcraft? [The smile lingers.] ...Sodomy?

[Abel clearly isn't comfortable, embarrassed over all.] Yes- to all of those more or less. He was made for it apparently. [Shittiest poker face ever, since Abel doesn't exactly buy that 'fact'.]

I suppose- em is hard to explain if you have not read on em. [Gender neutral god all up in here. Abel finds it hard to really whittle down to an simpler explanation.] Though I'm not fully certain what spirit means.

[ Well it's good to know that the other man has someone else here with him. He did seem a bit peeved not to mention wary of the journals and this place as a whole. ] It's t-taking him a bit to get used to Luceti. Th-that's the name of this enclosure, Luceti. I don't know if the planet itself has an actual name though...

Luceti. [He says it as digesting the word. A little at loss to what a planet is.] Knowing what this- place is called is enough. Thank you. [He smiles some.] It will take a very long time before he or I are truly comfortable here.
